Why Guests Love Staying Here
Top notch getaway!! This location is gorgeous, quiet, and private - exactly what we were looking for.
The property is immaculate, a top priority for me, and the host was SO great! The instructions about how to access/use all of the amenities at the treehouse were super clear.
The extra touches were perfect - glass bottled Coke chilling in the fridge, a perfectly cozy quilt on the sofa, a map of places to walk on the properly, and motion sensor lights on the stairs. They have thought of everything.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked a return trip. We've NEVER done that before, and we almost always stay at Airbnb properties when we travel.
This is a 10/10 place to stay!

AMAZING!!! My husband and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary and can't wait to come back again. We are already recommending The Treehouse to others. This place is simply perfect. From the moment we booked until the moment we checked out Matt was wonderful. The Treehouse has everything you could possibly need and the setting simply cannot be beat. We wanted a peaceful place to simply relax and enjoy spending time to together. This place provided all of that and more! The property is absolutely breathtaking!! The entire place offers beautiful views and having trails so easily accessible is great. We loved having coffee on the porch, sipping wine by the fire, and relaxing on the hammock. I simply cannot say enough about how beautiful and serene this place is. Echo was also a wonderful addition to our stay. He is an absolute sweetheart and makes you feel welcome as well:) This is truly a little piece of heaven and I am so thankful Matt and his family shared it with Us!

How It All Began
The Story Behind the Treehouse
This treehouse wasn't built from a blueprint — it was built from a feeling. A desire to create something that didn't exist yet: a place where people could slow down, reconnect with nature, and feel the quiet pride of something made entirely by hand. Every board was chosen with care, every detail crafted with love. Scroll on to see how it came to life, stage by stage.
The Build: A Timeline
From the first sketch to the final nail, here's how the treehouse came to life — one stage at a time.
Stage 1 — The Idea
It started with a sketch on a napkin and a question: what if? Add your story here — why you wanted to build it, what inspired the vision, and what you hoped it would become.
Stage 2 — Choosing the Tree
Not every tree is the right tree. Add your story here — how you found the right spot, what made it special, and what it felt like to stand beneath it and say this is the one.
Stage 3 — Breaking Ground
The first boards went up and suddenly it was real. Add your story here — the early challenges, the first wins, and the moment the structure started to take shape.
Stage 4 — Craftsmanship & Details
This is where the treehouse became itself. Add your story here — the handmade touches, the design decisions, the moments of craftsmanship that made it more than just a structure.
Stage 5 — The Finish Line
The last coat of finish, the first night spent inside. Add your story here — what it felt like to finally stand in the completed space and know that every hour of work had been worth it.
